So You Think You Can Dance – Week 1 (Audition Tour ~ New York)

Ok Last night was the premiere of so SYTYCD.  For those of you who do not know about the show – it is from the Creator and Exec Producers of American Idol and it follow pretty much the same format as AI:

1)  Audition Tour (about five cities)

2) Hollywood Round (welp actually Vegas)

3) Top 20 (in pairs) ~ Call in and vote for your favorite / results the next night

4) Top 12 ~ Call in and vote for your favorite / results the next night

5)  Big Finale ~ Winner gets a sweet contract dancing with someone huge, $100,000, an apartment and the top four get a car (nope NOT a Ford (LOL))

Welp I have not really seen any standouts yet.  That really wont come until they are Las Vegas / there may be a couple of favorites – but nothing major at this time.  So check back every week, I will give you an update and as the time gets closer I will break down my suspect list of Top 20 Candidates.  Also (if I can find it) the you tube video of the best performance from the night before.

You should really check out this show it will come on Wednesday (8 pm) and Thursday (9 pm) on your local Fox Station.

PS – Let;’s see if American can get this one right and not send home the best dancers like they did with the best singers on AI.
